Achiellea flower has long been used for its healing properties to treat small superficial skin wounds. Its name comes from the Homeric hero Achilles, who, according to the legend, used the plant to heal the wounds in battle. For internal use, its infusions can be help to stimulate appetite; treat mild gut complaints, and spasm associated with menstrual periods.
